NEW MATH COMPUTER PROGRAM
The Symphony Math program has been installed on the school computers. This program helps students understand the number and language basics of our base ten number system.Every child will practice math for 30 minutes three times per week using this program. The program will automatically track each student, raise levels and give us reports on the student's progress. We will especially tract the student's progress in faster recall of facts. Soon this program will be accessable from your home computer throught the school site.

SPELLING
Every Friday is the spelling test. Keep working to learn all of the words.
READ AT HOME
Most of the children are reading a book at home every night. Some of the books are quite long so it takes more than one night to read them. This Reading at Home has resulted in big growth in reading fluency for all the children.+
MUSIC
Mrs. White had all of the children deep in concentration with both motions and song in sequence. I came in at the end of the class for a demonstration of their sequential learning. I was impressed!
Michigan Model Health: Our lessons begin with understanding our feelings. The children are learning to recognize their feelings and discussing ways of dealing with feelings appropriately. The children are learning to express feelings respectfully. Look for the parent letter in the backpack with a family connection to help you at home.
